The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) is a yearly high-profile televised Texas Hold 'em poker tournament with a prize pool in the millions at the Atlantis Casino and Resort on Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. The one exception to the Atlantis Paradise Island location was in 2004, its inaugural year. The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, or PCA as it was affectionately known, is to cease being after 16 years as a traditional new year showpiece. The Adventure began life in 2004 with a field of 221 aboard a cruise ship as part of the World Poker Tour, a full seven years before Black Friday. PokerStars Caribbean Adventure ( PCA ) is an annual TV Show over a Poker Tournament taking place at the Atlantis Casino and Resort on Atlantis Paradise Island since 2005 and prior that and for one time only at the Royal Caribbean Voyager of the Seas cruise ship in 2004. PCA was originally co-sponsored by World Poker Tour (WPT) and PokerStars.
The PCA also offers a wide variety of Sit & Go’s, with buy-ins starting from $120. Please ask a member of the tournament staff in the poker room for more details on what Sit & Go’s are available each day.
